June 10 2021 | The Biafra Telegraph
It is exactly 51 years after the purported End of the Genocidal war spearheaded by Britain and league of Islamic States against the people of Biafra, yet the Eastern Nigeria has continued to be an occupied territory and a killing field by the Nigerian Military and paramilitary Forces.
Contrary to official statement from the despotic Military regime of General Yakubu Gowon with a deceptive State policy of Reconstruction Rehabilitation and Reconciliation, the policy which was intended to discourage the withdrawing Biafran forces from going into Guerrilla Warfare.
This policy was defective and deceptive in all ramifications as it was designed to fail from inception. There was no form of reconciliation as the country is more polarized today more than it was in the late sixties. The civilian population and combatants were not rehabilitated and while war was fought in the East, reconstruction started in the West and moved to the North.
We want the world to know that the Biafran people have been emasculated, deprived, suppressed, humiliated, and Mass murdered in their ancestral land by successive government in Nigeria. Laws and state policies are crafted to put us in a disadvantaged Position.
Today, there is no functional International Airport in the Southeast heartland. No functional Seaport, the territory is not connected to the ongoing National Integrated Rail Network.
The international community should be worried that while Boko Haram, ISIS and other terrorist organizations continue to kill, kidnap and mount Flags in some parts of the Northern Nigeria, there has been brazen military deployment and intensive bombardment of several civilian settlements and cities in the entire Peaceful Southeast region.
In the list of recent recordings of high casualties are, Imo State, Rivers State, Akwa Ibom State, Abia and Anambra States. This has left no less than a thousand recorded deaths, over six hundred missing persons and two thousand undergoing torture in various military torture camps and Prisons.
We want to put the international community on notice about the unmitigated hardship, torture, genocide and total occupation of Biafra land by uninvited Military whose sole business should be Defence of Nigeria's territorial lines.
History has shown that oppression of a people if allowed to fester is capable of eventually unleashing explosive reactions. In the face of this policy of annihilation, we have decided not to be spectators but to protect our lives, preserve our heritage's and defend our ancestral land against an army of occupation and Islamic Invaders.
The world is aware that slavery cannot endure beyond a certain point.
- The vast colonial empire of the European powers had to be liquidated.
- The problems of the minorities in the USA are eventually being addressed through affirmative action.
- The Jewish Holocaust has continued to stain the presence of the German race and hunt her future.
- I Am Smith Rhodesia yielded place to present day Zimbabwe.
- Apartheid collapsed under the weight of supressed tension.
We want the world to know that we are resolute and committed to the restoration of the Biafran State. Our quest for freedom is our right backed by international laws, international conventions on human rights and even the military constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We want to remind the Nigerian Military, controlled by the Fulani caliphate that no Army on air or military occupation can stop an idea which time has come.
