It is a well-known fact, that before the military invasion in Imo State, the State is ranked one of the most peaceful States in Nigeria. Imo State is known for hospitality and relaxation with highest number of hotels and homes for holiday makers.
In security rating, Imo State became a safe ground for investors after the formation of ESN who helped to chase terrorist Fulani herdsmen away from the forest and farms. There were no cases of Fulani onslaught anywhere in the entire state. ESN were very operational in the bushes and everybody was happy.
To the shock of everyone, the State Governor invited the Military and Police to invade several communities in Orlu local government area of Imo State. The assignment was to capture and kill members of Eastern Security Network (ESN) who did not kill anyone nor posed as a threat to anyone.
Like a movie, the Nigeria Soldiers invaded Orlu in a commando style. They moved into the forest where ESN were watching over the farmlands and opened fire on them, killing several. These are Soldiers that never invaded the forest to arrest killer herdsmen in the past. Today, they rolled out their armoured trucks like they were going to Afghanistan or Iran. The entire villages in Orlu LGA are living in fear till today.
Of course, the members of ESN could no longer watch the continuous destruction of properties and loss of lives without help from anywhere. They decided to defend themselves and hell was let loose. The military felt insulted that poor civilians were fighting back. There were more attacks again and the number of casualties was rising. The world started screaming against the carnage.
Then there were a few days of calm. Members of ESN counted their loss and embarked on funeral rites of their members killed during the attacks. The villagers started returning to their Homes but to the shock of everyone, the military were not done yet. They rolled out war Jets and armoured trucks this time, there was both land and air bombardment in Orlu, killing several ESN and members of the community. Houses were set ablaze.
More lives were lost again and there was no help from anywhere. No government intervention to save the situation. The people could no longer watch as they were killed in their homes. Every young man in Orlu turned a vigilante and they defended their community from being wiped out by Nigeria Soldiers.
The anger and frustration from Orlu massacre and the failed Nation of NIGERIA led to the violence against Security Operatives in the Southeast. The people lost confidence in them. The people saw them as their first enemies, especially when all these Soldiers posted to the Southeast are of Fulani extraction, majority can't communicate in English. Strangely, some of them can't speak any of the major languages in Nigeria. This is a sign that they could be foreign machineries on a mission to destroy Biafra Land.
The sole responsibility of a Country's Military is defence of its territories from foreign invasion but here in Nigeria, the story is different. The Nigeria Soldiers are drafted to kill its citizens by the politicians at the centre whose major aim is to Islamize NIGERIA.
The people have taken their destinies into their hands. The daily invasion and kidnapping of innocent people of the Southeast by the Military and Police must be stopped for peace to return here.
The compromised Governors in the entire Southeast must stand in defence of their people to stop this impending war because it does nobody any good. They must listen to the cry of their people whom majority are yearning for a sovereign State of BIAFRA.
The Restoration of BIAFRA is a sure Solution to every trouble in the Southeast, today.
