A young man whose full details is yet to be ascertained has been shot dead by the Nigeria Police in Abakaliki Ebonyi state capital on the evening hours of Wednesday, May 5 2021.
Our correspondent in Abakaliki who rushed to the scene of the incident says the ugly situation occurred at the Speraindeo motor park front gate, behind Ebonyi state building materials market.
An eye witness who spoke with our correspondent on the situation says, the police came to the scene through Onu Ebonyi route, on sighting the victim and the other person with him where they were standing, probably waiting for mass Transit to board to their destination, at the entrance of the motor park, the police patrol team stopped their Hilux van before in front of them, in an effort to arrest them the dead victim demanded to know the crime they committed on why the police want to arrest them, one of the blood tasty brutal police officer, reached his trigger and shot the young man dead instantly, they equally forced the other person into their Hilux van and zoomed off after shooting harassing gun.
The victims were assumed to be between the age of 25 and 30 years, as at the time of this publication, details of the victims both the person shot dead and the other person they abducted to an unknown destination where they might secretly execute him has not been gathered, no one could identify them or where they hail from but they're all Igbo speaking Biafrans, presumably indigenes of Ebonyi state.
The eyewitness further revealed that the victims were not causing any trouble or public disorderliness in the area, he also said the motor park has been peaceful since morning adding that no form of violence has taken place in the park since morning, for such act from unprovoked police officer to take place.
He added that the police plied Afikpo Road and diverted to Onwe road as they were leaving the scene of the incident, it was concluded that they might follow the direction to appear at Udensi roundabout and enter the Nigeria Police Headquarter Abakaliki, opposite Ebonyi state government house or take their abducted victim to an unknown destination possibly to be murdered.
This is what innocent citizens of Ebonyi state and other states in Biafra land undergo in their own land on daily basis, in the hands of the security officers which ought to protect the citizens that they turn ironically to kill without any form of provocation or breaking of law and order.
The world and the international communities both the United States, United Nations, European Union should arise and do the needful because the British contraption called Nigeria has failed, there is no better option to rectify the complex insecurity challenges and the extrajudicial killings of the innocent indigenous people in Nigeria for decades than to divide the expired contraption.
Nigeria no longer exist in the minds of the various indigenous population trapped in this hellfire on earth, it is rather based on paper, serving the selfish interest of the Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists and the few corrupt politicians, Nigeria has done the people as well as black race and humanity more harm than good, therefore referendum should be conducted for the entire indigenous people in this failed contraption to decide if they want to continue to be in the false union or go their separate ways since the safety of their properties and lives are no longer guaranteed in Nigeria as hunger and unemployment as well as moral decadence increases in Nigeria the no man's country on daily basis.
