No fewer than fifteen Persons has been untimely killed by the Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists at Obegu in Ishielu LGA on the night of Monday 29th March, 2021.
The Fulani Herdsmen that came out in their numbers from the bush, blocked and laid siege on the road leading from Nkalagu; Nigercem to Obegu community in the late hours of March 29th 2021 and unleashed the mayhem on their victims.
The helpless people of Obegu in Ishielu LGA Ebonyi state was abandoned to be butchered like cattles by the Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists without the intervention of the government security operatives despite early notification to the public about the attack on the innocent citizens.
Survivals of the attack has fled their homes to the neighbouring communities in Ebonyi state and Enugu state respectively to save their lives; many who sustained cutlass and gun injuries are equally receiving treatments in different hospitals and medical centres within the state.
Some dead victims were immediately being buried by their relatives as mortuary attendants refused to deposit the bodies of the victims due to several cuts in their bodies.
For years back, the people of Ebonyi state and other states in Biafra land has suffered unspeakable atrocities and uncountable killings from the blood sucking Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists, unfortunately the government saddled with the primary responsibility of protecting the lives and property of her citizens abandoned it.
Ironically, they join hands with the oppressors to attack the Family members of IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, which took it upon themselves to fight and protect the people's interest, lives and property under rainfall and sunshine.
Indeed, the hope of the people not just in Ebonyi state is currently bestowed on Chukwu-Okike-Abiama and IPOB for survival since the government has failed them woefully in all ramifications of human interests and needs.
Our correspondent in the scene of the incident reports that the community has suddenly turned to ghost town as many citizens has already left their homes seeking for refuge wherever they can find it.
