Just this morning I decided to carry out a walk to know
the response of the people of Edo state.
Along Ekewan road axis, I noticed some churches was shut
down. I also noticed the popular Garrick where some pastors always hold
services that normally filled was deserted only youths who are preparing to
play football which is totally wrong at this period of pandemic.
While I was still observing, at exactly stadium junction
by Ekewan road, I saw a long convoy of Nigeria police and Wabah Iziga (Obaseki
Police) moving down to Asoro axis in search of any social gathering.
I arrived at Obakhawaye junction, and I took the road
leading to Bob Izua petrol station surprisingly, the Assembly of God Church
along a lane was opened but what drew my attention was that the Nigerian police
was there and order all members to get out alongside another church (Christ for
the World) that is opposite.
Like our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said: “I feel for my
people, this pandemic will cause more harm if it spread among our people
because there is no medical equipment to treat them.”
Considering the fact that Nigeria is a total failure when
it comes to all facet, including medical-wise, let’s adhere to the medical advice
to keep social distances, avoid handshake, wash your hands always, drink water
always etc.
May Chukwu Okike Abiama keep protecting our steps and
hope that this pandemic will certainly pass away as soon as possible.
GOD BLESS BIAFRA
