The Deaf IPOB group were in Afaraukwu to pay their
condolences to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's Family over the painful exit of their
parents, Eze and Lolo Okwu Kanu
The group was led to the Palace in Afaraukwu by their
Administrator, Ngozichukwu Ada-Dav, whom they chose to be their ear in every
information concerning BIAFRA.
The head of the IPOB Deaf group, Mazi John Eguzouwa was
present. He consoled the family and assured them of the support of the Deaf
people to the goals and dreams of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Prince Kalunta Okwu Kanu, was very pleased to receive
them. He expressed surprise and some emotions seeing the passion and love in
the faces of the Deaf people for his family and IPOB.
Ngozichukwu Ada-Dav, thanked Prince Kalunta and assured
him of the trust of the Deaf people to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who has made so much
sacrifices already. In her words, "the Deaf group wanted to be present on
the burial day (14:02:2020) but I strongly advised against the date due to the
threats from the Nigerian Security Personnel, if there was any kind of fracas, I
would not know how to scamper them to safety."
The meeting came to an end with group photos with the two
brothers of our Director, Prince Emmanuel and Prince Kalunta.
