The media wing of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Lagos
chapter, yesterday, the 15th day of December, 2019, hosted the first ever
Biafran Kids' End Of The Year gathering in Lagos.
The event began with Biafran National Anthem, which the
kids led everyone in singing, while standing still and holding the beautiful
pride of our Fatherland, the Biafran Flag.
After the Biafra National Anthem, the event was properly
handed into the hands of Chiukwu Okike Abiama to direct and safeguard the arena
against evil plans of the enemy, and that at no distant time, all Biafrans will
return back home to celebrate victory.
After the prayers, the Master of Ceremony, (M.C of the
day), Mazi Uche Chiemenam, ushered in the Media Head of Lagos IPOB, Mazi Emeka
Oguduru, who was represented by an elder Mazi Okwunna Okongwu, who, in his
opening remark and welcome speech, thanked the people that graced the occasion
and spoke on the future Biafra holds for our kids in a free nation of Biafra.
He emphasized on the importance of media and informed the
people how IPOB has used the Media wing to shake the pillars of the contraption
called Nigeria, stating that every governmental body in the world now knows
Biafra even if they are not talking about Biafra, due to their complicity and
dubious ways in which they make wealth for themselves through the Biafra resources.
Not just that the kids were hosted to merry making, they
also showcased their potentialities by presenting some Biafran songs, some of
which they performed as drama, depicting where our people are being killed by
the agents of the terroristic Nigeria government, or are either dying in the
consulting clinics that are called hospitals, due to poor medical facilities.
They also dramatized the poor educational system in the
abominable contraption called Nigeria, and also danced to some Biafran songs. One very outstanding performance was by a Biafran wonder
boy, named Praise Ekeh, who gave eleven reasons why Biafrans should be freed
from the fraud and illegality called Nigeria.
Some of the reasons he gave included, but not limited to
the numerous road blocks across Biafra land, poor education in Nigeria, lack of
employment, shortage in power supply, high poverty rate in the country,
unwarranted deaths which the armed forces of Nigeria inflict on Biafrans and so
many others.
Mazi Uche Chiemenam used Igbo Language to call upon every
Biafran man or woman to join IPOB and support in the restoration of Biafra
Because it not a duty left only for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB. He also used so
many Igbo proverbs, of which any Igbo man that has any sense of reason will not
wait for someone to interpret the proverbs.
Nwannenabọ, the fabulous duo, who thrills Biafran with
their lovely songs, performed their new 3 singles on stage. Their songs have a
lot of meaning in them, making Biafrans across the globe to be commending it
and requesting to have the audio, while also requesting that the songs should
be played on Radio Biafra. These reactions came from a Facebook post where the
video was transmitted live.
After the live performance of Nwannenabọ, there was an
interactive session, which was anchored by Mazi Ugochukwu Stephen, with panellists
as Lolo Ngozichukwu Ada Dav, Okwunna Okongwu, and Mazi Uche Chiemenam.
They discussed the "Achievements of IPOB, led by
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. In her contribution, Lolo Ada Dav said she was once a person
that shunned Biafra, or sent people out of her presence whenever such people
mentioned Biafra.
But on hearing the voice of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and the
audacity and conviction with which he broadcasted, she started reasoning and
discovered that there was no Illegality in the word BIAFRA, and that was how
she was converted and started looking for a unit to join until she finally
became a family member of the Indigenous People Of Biafra.
Also discussed was the importance of every indigenous
person from Biafra land to join IPOB and get Biafra, and eradicate the
mentality of divide and rule.
In his closing remarks, Okwunna Okongwu highlighted the
similarities within all Biafrans, especially tying of two-piece wrapper, which
is only done in the whole world by Biafrans, making it a unique distinctive
mode of dressing of Biafrans, and not only of Igbo extraction.
This is why you will see Efik, Urhobo, Ijaws, Idoma,
Igede, Igbanke, Itshekiri, Annang, Igala, etc, who are Biafrans, being easily
identified. He also highlighted on some expressions and words which have the
same meaning, pronunciation, or application in Igbo Language, as well as other
Biafran Languages.
Many of such examples are contained in the video on our
page "Spot On Media", on Facebook. There was enough food for guests
and the kids, and everyone left happily, hoping that in no distant time, such happiness
will be in their faces in a freed Biafra Republic.
The closing prayer was led by Lolo Ngozichukwu Ada-Dav,
who was the Mother of the day.
