CORRECTING THE NARRATIVE; 1966 WAS A GENOCIDE ON BIAFRANS, NOT A CIVIL WAR

For a long period of time, the genocide committed against the people of Southeast region (Biafrans) of Nigeria has been erroneously tagged "NIGERIAN CIVIL WAR". The British Government who played a strong role in that genocide are the people who also helped the Nigeria Government to tag it a "Civil War" through their Broadcasting Station BBC and various Newspapers and TV outlets. They twisted the true situation in favour of Nigeria, believing that the Truth will be buried forever.

The killing of Biafrans by Nigeria Government started as far back as 1945 and by 1966, it has blown up to Genocide. The Biafrans fled from every part of the country back to their Region to avoid being wiped out. They fled abandoning their investments and homes. They were no longer safe in every part, from North to West they were slaughtered in cold blood. Unfortunately, the same people who fled back to their home (Southeast region) were followed and attacked by the Nigeria Government in collaboration with Britain. They were massacred right in their homes and their houses burnt down. The children and mothers were starved to death. The men were slaughtered in millions.

Shockingly, the same Britain who was the mastermind of this cruelty, went home and tagged the defenceless Biafrans "REBELS". How so painful. While this cruelty was going on, the world was silent. The world stood and watched the massacre of the innocent. Some of the world powers bought into the lies told by British BBC and they also gave military support to Nigeria against the fallen innocent Biafrans. It was the most callous act.

Today, we the Indigenous People Of BIAFRA IPOB, have come to rewrite our story. IT WAS A GENOCIDE AND NOT CIVIL WAR. We are here to continue pressing for the truth, and we know Nigeria is built under fraud. The amalgamation was a big fraud, hence, the need to be separated from Nigeria where our lives are not safe.

With the help of today's information technology, nobody can choke our voices. We cannot allow the present-day struggle for Biafra suffer what Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu suffered due to lack of a means to disseminate information to the world. The present-day struggle for Biafra restoration is here to tell her story with evidences to support each story. The massacre at Nkpor, Onitsha, Abia, Imo, Port Harcourt, Delta, Afaraukwu Umuahia etc, are all in good records and well documented for presentation to the world at the appropriate time.

With a profound gratitude, we thank Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the Leader of IPOB for the wisdom in the installation of Radio Biafra London, Biafra TV, and the attraction of a mass movement of his followers in the social media. This has helped the Struggle to a great height and the single reason we are making great strides by the day. The world is listening to us. International bodies are listening and watching. Amnesty International has visited severally to witness most of the Killings. Today, the IPOB Leader has been invited by different countries and organizations to speak about Biafra. Recently, the EU invited him and, in few hours, he will be at the UN to speak again. This is evidence of what communication can do.

We applaud United Nation and the EU for the invitation extended to us the Indigenous People Of BIAFRA IPOB, to Present our case.

The birthing of Biafra Nation will be a liberation for Africa and to the entire black race. It will be a true African state not shaped by imperialist to suit their needs

I plead with us to keep the flame of Media flaring up till BIAFRA is achieved. Let's tell our story, destroying every lie and bad Journalism in Nigeria.
