The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Ebonyi state officially
inaugurated the women wing of the Ebonyi south senatorial district on 4th,
April 2019 at Uburu, Ohaozara LGA; to carry the gospel of Biafra restoration
further to all parts of Ebonyi south and Ebonyi state as a whole.
The inaugural event which attracted many from all parts of the state and
the five LGA in Ebonyi south, had in attendance the Ebonyi state women
leader, Evangelist Chioma Iwuala, the Ebonyi south IPOB coordinator, Rev. Okoh
Elijah and his executives, the state coordinator, Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya and some
other state executives as well attended the inauguration to cheer the
women to higher productivity.
The inauguration attracted many lovers of freedom from all parts of
Uburu in Ohaozara local government area more especially women and young people
to the venue of the event. Many officially identified with IPOB during the
women inauguration.
The state mobilization officer, Mazi Okechukwu Okocha before the
commencement of the inauguration, took some time to educate the people on the
biblical Origin of Biafra people, how they were related to the Israelites, he
encouraged them to give their total support in the agitation to restore Biafra,
because it will better the entire continent of Africa and other foreign allies;
not just Biafra nation alone.
Evangelist Chioma Iwuala the state women leader expressed her joy over
the performance of the senatorial women leadership, how they were able to
organize the women, she encouraged them to go for evangelism in different
communities and villages within their jurisdiction as to win more souls into
IPOB family.
The state IPOB coordinator Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya who spoke in a length on
the activities of IPOB in the state and other related issues, charged the women
in the state to double efforts in the struggle to restore Biafra, he immensely
appreciated them for their good works and active participation across the
state in the area of evangelism and financial contributions to keep the
struggle moving. He equally encouraged the men not to restrict their women from
coming out to join their fellow women in the struggle to restore Biafra
especially the already existing IPOB members.
Speaking shortly before the inauguration, the Ebonyi south senatorial
district coordinator, Rev. Oko Elijah assured the women of their total support
to ensure they deliver on their primary responsibilities to move the state
forward.
The Ebonyi south senatorial district women leader Lolo Onu Florence,
appreciated those who came for the inauguration especially her members and
executives, she noted that the mandate bestowed on them by IPOB generally must
be fulfilled by the grace of Chukwuokike Abiama.
