The Indigenous People Of Biafra, Izhia in Ohaukwu LGA Ebonyi state (Abakaliki
province) on Sunday 3rd March, 2019 held a combined meeting with the four zones
in Izhia which includes: Ishi-Izhia zone, Amaechi zone, Amike zone and Ezzamgbo
mother zone.
The meeting which focused on how to further expand the families of IPOB
to the nooks and crannies of Izhia was massively attended by the units and
zonal coordinators including members in the jurisdiction.
The coordinator of IPOB Ohaukwu LGA, Mazi Ojima Kenneth attended the
meeting, the state executives under Izhia forum were equally in attendance.
Mazi Ekeh Chukwuma the state secretary of IPOB was in the meeting, Mazi
Ezeta Ozoemena the state protocol officer and Mazi Ogeh Friday Igiri, the
Ebonyi state media head also attended the meeting.
Reports were received from the coordinators of the four zones to know
how things are moving in their various jurisdictions, the reactions of the
people and the challenges they are encountering.
Reports and words of admonition were equally gotten from the heads of
departments both in the Local government area and in state level.
Mazi Ojima Kenneth, the Ohaukwu LGA coordinator expressed his joy on how
the people gathered to share together issues that affects them and proffer
solution to it, he urged them on his address, to remain resolute in the quest
to restore Biafra.
On his own Mazi Ezeta Ozoemena, the state protocol officer advised them
to choose either IPOB or Nigeria politics, he states that it is not good for
one to speak from both sides of his mouth, he advised the gallant members of
IPOB to shun the act of sabotage, because no saboteur will go free.
Mazi Ekeh Chukwuma the state secretary explained more on the reasons for
the general meeting, he charged them to take the gospel of Biafra restoration
to all corners of Izhia and beyond, according to him "we are saddled with
the responsibilities of spreading the gospel of Biafra to all parts of our
land and we must do it, again there is no better time to do it than now"
Mazi Ogeh Friday Igiri, the state media head who anchored the program
urged the coordinators and the members to seat up and take the bull by the
horn in order to move the struggle forward and create more family units and
zones not just in Izhia, Ohaukwu LGA but to the entire Ebonyi state.
Many people from the various zones who aired their view during the
general segment of the meeting expressed their gladness on how the meeting was
organized, they were optimistic that Biafra must be restored, on their own,
they will continue to do everything needed of them to get Biafra restored as a
sovereign nation in Africa.
