The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Ebonyi
state {Abakaliki Province} Biafra land on Sunday 24th March, 2019
officially Inaugurated Onueke Amagu Ikwo family Unit in Ikwo LGA, Ebonyi
Central senatorial district.
The inauguration was attended by the Ebonyi Central senatorial district
coordinator, Mazi Nwankwo Ikechukwu, the Ikwo LGA IPOB coordinator Mazi
Nwikpuka Boniface and some other local government area principal officers.
The senatorial district coordinator Mazi Nwankwo Ikechukwu while
tutoring the people on the issues they need know about the struggle to restore
Biafra, made it known to them that "Biafra is our only heritage and we
must do everything humanly possible to get it restored". He urged them to
join hands on the deck and contribute meaningfully to the restoration of Biafra
because " it is something we shall leave to enjoy forever, especially our
posterity ".
The women leader of the newly inaugurated family unit, Mrs Monica Chukwu
expressed satisfaction, and she said " I am extremely glad that the gospel
for Biafra freedom has finally reached our doorstep, we have suffered so much
in the hands of the Nigeria government, our children are still suffering
severely; wondering from one place to another searching for means to make both
ends meet". She added that all they need as a people is nothing, but the
restoration of Biafra.
On the other hand, the coordinator of the family unit, Mazi Anthony
Nweke gladly appreciated those who willingly accepted the good news of Biafra
arrival as a sovereign nation and joined IPOB in the quest to accomplish its
restoration, he promised IPOB a qualitative leadership delivery, assuring them
that in no distant time more families will be established in all parts of their
community. "We are going to take the bull by the horn, we shall convey the
message of Biafra restoration to all the villages in our community and very
soon we are going to have more families here".
The inauguration and commissioning of the family unit was done by the
Ikwo local government area coordinator, Mazi Nwikpuka Boniface and it was
monitored by the senatorial district coordinator Mazi Nwankwo Ikechukwu.
Many people including members of different churches and some clergies
from the community boldly came out and identified officially with IPOB on
the inauguration.
