Nigeria is a country that is synonymous with violence, a highly terrorised country, Infact Nigeria is the third ‘most terrorised country in the past four years.
According to a vanguard newspaper report, over 6,562 deaths was recorded in just 11 months in the year 2018.
These killings are in this order..
In the first 10 weeks of the year as tallied by Sunday Vanguard in March 2018, no fewer than 1,351 people were mowed down. In January, 676 Nigerians were killed, and in February, no fewer than 517 people died violently, across the country. For the remaining months the death tolls are as follows: March, 485; April, 670; May, 508; June, 639; July, 357; August, 363; September, 926; October, 1,033; and November, 388..."

In another report, The United States Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) says it has documented at least 19,890 deaths in Nigeria since June 2015, just after President Muhammadu Buhari assumed office on May 29, 2015.

One man who has offered peace to Nigeria time and time again is Nnamdi kanu, The leader of The Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, those who have met him will attest to the fact that he is very peaceful and calm... The same can be said of the IPOB he leads, the peacefulness of IPOB is clearly shown in her none violent way and modus operadi..., her peacefulness has always been tested countless times, yet she still standing tall as very peaceful.

IPOB's seek for a referendum will end the killings in Nigeria because Boko Haram will have their Islamic State of Nigeria, while the Eastern Region will have Biafra.
Nnamdi Kanu has shown how consistent he is with the call for a referendum for the Indigenous People in the present day Nigeria to decide whether they still want to be part of Nigeria or not....Just like the Indigenous People of Adamawa voted to leave the Cameroon and join Nigeria in 1961 which incidentally made Atiku Abubakar a Nigerian.
If you were expecting Nnamdi Kanu to support election because an Igbo man was chosen by a particular candidate in the election then you have no principle.
If you also think Nnamdi Kanu is working for Buhari because he said IPOB is not going to take part in any election then you are dumb.
In fact I would have said he has compromised if he had asked IPOB to participate in the election.
The truth is, let everyone of the candidates show their strength in this coming election because as it stands today, it's not going to be a walk over for any of them.
If Buhari wins the election next year, it's not because IPOB boycotted the election, it simply means Atiku/PDP couldn't match Buhari's/APC rigging template or Nigerians are not yet tired of Buhari.
So instead of insulting Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, you will do better by selling your preferred candidate and why you think they are good for the job.
From the broadcast, Nnamdi Kanu said he gave the Nigerian government two options (referendum or Devolution of powers) when the delegation came to negotiate with him but they disagreed.
It is also a known fact that Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB forced everybody to start talking about restructuring to the extent that APC as a party had to constitute an emergency restructuring committee which submitted their report to the Buhari led government. A report which was dumped by the government after Nnamdi Kanu's disappearance.
It is not enough to support a candidate because he chose an Igbo man as a VP or has promised to restructure Nigeria.
This is a time to get serious commitment from those seeking to govern us!
If IPOB succeeds in pushing a substantial number of people to boycott the 2019 election then it means the people are with them and it validates the call for referendum.
So to avoid that, both APC and PDP should give the people something better than what IPOB is offering.
Today, the whole world is listening to one man and that alone should tell you that the political leaders have lost.
