Late chief Michael Onwe the father to Mrs Florence Ifeanyi passed on,
hearing the arrest and the high level of inhuman treatment meted on his only
child and daughter, who was arrested at Owerri on 17th August, 2018 alongside
other Biafra women who were protesting against the injustice and illegal
detention of Biafrans and members of IPOB by the Nigeria government.
Chief Michael Onwe the Eze Udo 1 of Ndiakpaji at Umuoru Amechi in
Ohaukwu LGA Ebonyi state died after a heart attack he had as a result of the
illegal arrest his daughter and only child by the Nigeria police at Owerri.
He was buried according to the tradition demands on 30th November, 2018
at his home town.
Members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB in Ebonyi state,
Abakaliki province including the state coordinator, Mazi Igwe Ogbonna, his
state executives, the state women leader Evangelist Mrs Chioma Iwuala, Bishop
Nwachinere Stanley, Mazi Eke Chukwuma the state secretary, Mazi Ezeta Ozoemena,
deputy state women leader Mrs Chukwu Jacinta, Prince Dr Kingsley Ogba the chief
Rabbi of House of Israel Assembly Synagogue at Izhia were among the
dignitaries that attended the burial to cheer Mrs Florence and her family over
the loss of her father in the hands of the brutal Nigeria police.
