The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in Ebonyi state on their efforts
to emancipate Ebonyians with the struggle to restore Biafra, has pushed further
to the rural areas in the state establishing IPOB family units.
On Tuesday, November 6th 2018 the state inaugurated Ndegu Isu family
unit at Nkalagu in Ishielu LGA Ebonyi state, Abakaliki province.
The state IPOB PRO Bishop Nwachinemere Stanley, while explaining to the
people what IPOB means and stand for analyzed that the Indigenous People Of
Biafra is a group of genuine Biafrans who took it upon themselves to fight for
the crumbling of the British contraption called Nigeria as to pave way for the
restoration of Biafra, which has being in existence before Nigeria was formed.
The state IPOB Secretary, Mazi Eke Chukwuma on speaking to the people
during the inauguration, prayed for strength and grace among the principal
officers and members in the unit to do the work required of them in the
agitation for Biafra restoration. He reminded them that joining IPOB struggle
simply implies that you're a volunteer to work for the liberation of your
people.
The senatorial district coordinator of Ebonyi central, Mazi Ikechukwu
urged them to work hard in spreading the gospel for Biafra restoration, he
promised to return for visit and anticipates the establishment of more family
units to form zones.
Mazi Una Ifeanyi the new Ishielu LGA IPOB coordinator advised the newly
inaugurated unit members and her principal officers to stand strong in facing
the challenge ahead of them in the struggle, he compelled them to remain
resolute despite what may come across them as challenges abound to surface.
The coordinator of the newly inaugurated family unit, Mazi Orinya
Chibuzor on his closing remark after the inauguration appreciated the members
of the community and the executives of IPOB in Ebonyi state who attended the
inauguration, he pledged his full support in making sure that the needful is
done in their area of jurisdiction, especially as evangelism and establishing
of new units is concerned.
The inauguration was attended by Mazi Ikechukwu Nwankwo the interim
Ebonyi centre district coordinator, Mazi Eke Chukwuma the state secretary,
Bishop Nwachinemere Stanley the state PRO, Ejiofor Nweke the state Commander,
Mazi Ogeh Friday Igiri the state media head, Mazi Ezeta Ozoemena James, the
state provost and Ishielu LGA coordinator Mazi Una Ifeanyi who anchored the
official inauguration.
