THE Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in Ebonyi state on Wednesday 8,
November 2018 Inaugurated Nwofe family zone in Izzi LGA, Ebonyi north
senatorial district Ebonyi state Biafra land to further spread the gospel for
Biafra restoration as demanded by the leadership of IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi
Kanu.
The inauguration was attended by the state IPOB coordinator Mazi Igwe
Ogbonnaya, Bishop Nwachinemere Stanley the state IPOB PRO, Mazi Ogeh Friday
Igiri the state Media head, senatorial district coordinator of Ebonyi north,
Mazi Wisdom Ezike Nwambam, Izzi LGA coordinator, Mazi Ishioko Jacob and other
senatorial principal officers.
The inauguration began with opening prayer, then the reaffirmation of
the IPOB oath of allegiance, followed with recitation of the Biafra national
anthem before welcoming the state and superior principal officers who attended
the inauguration.
The Ebonyi north senatorial district coordinator Mazi Wisdom Ezike
anchored the inauguration event. On his opening remark, he explained to the
congregation especially for the interest of those who just identified with IPOB
for the first time in the area, what IPOB means, their mission and vision;
according to him, "IPOB simply means The Indigenous People Of Biafra, the
group of people deeply committed in the freedom of Biafra as a sovereign state
from Nigeria.
The state IPOB coordinator, Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya during his speech
delivery, said that the coming back of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the supreme leader of
IPOB to Biafra land will be to fully restore Biafra, therefore he urged all and
sundry to work hard because there is no time, still on his speech, he asked for
love and oneness to rule among them because IPOB worldwide is one family, he
equally made it known to them that the previous IPOB Head Of Directorate barn
on the payment of monthly dues in Biafra land has been lifted, on that note he
urged every member of IPOB in the state particularly in the newly inaugurated zone
to adequately comply in paying their monthly dues.
Mrs Nwoga Agnes, the women leader of the newly inaugurated family zone
while speaking with the media expressed their readiness to work harder in
taking the message to the nooks and crannies of their jurisdiction as to
facilitate the Biafra restoration.
Reverend Mbam Paul, one of the members of Nwofe zone mother unit,
explained to his people the need to give in their best in the struggle for
Biafra restoration, saying that Nnamdi Kanu is a God-sent and Biafrans need to thank
God for sending him to come and liberate them from the British contraption
called Nigeria.
Mazi Nwuzor Donatus also a member of the zone narrated his encounter and
experience in the long quest for Biafra total freedom and restoration, he
concluded that Biafra is the only thing black race need to be free from
embodiment of amalgamation.
The inauguration was conducted by Mazi Ishioko Jacob the Izzi LGA
coordinator, whom during his speech advised them to remain strong and always
attend state organized activities as to make their meaningful contributions or
ask questions as it got to do with moving the agitation for Biafra restoration
by IPOB forward.
