Biafrans in Orlu Province were on 14th October visited by
Imo State Coordinator of the Indigenous people of Biafra (Mazi Chimdiya
Chibueze). The state coordinator who was
accompanied by the state Mobilisation Officer (Mazi Nonso Martins), thanked his
host for hosting him. Addressing Biafrans who were in attendance, Mazi Chimdiya
Chibueze charged the people of Orlu province to remain resolute as “there is no
other choice we have now than restoring Biafra”. He wondered why anyone in his
sanity would doubt the position of IPOB on election boycott and having the much-anticipated
Biafra referendum.
While receiving questions from those in attendance over the radio signal which has not been on air for a while, the state coordinator prayed for more time from the people as the engineers are working assiduously to get the radio signal back on air. Also speaking, the state mobilisation officer (Mazi Nonso Martins) admonished Biafrans in Orlu Province to take the message of referendum to nook and crannies of Orlu. The state mobilisation officer who used the opportunity to nominate Orlu Province mobilising officer, charged the newly appointed mobilisation officer to work hard “and make sure Orlu is mobilised within the possible time”, he charged.
Thanking his guests, the host Mazi Chidi Nwachukwu
thanked the state coordinator and the state mobilisation officer for their
visit and prayed for their safe trip to their destinations. The height of the
gathering was when the people of Orlu province who were on today’s meeting were
hooked up to Radio Biafra after Broadcast from United States of America. Those who spoke on the live program thanked
Onyendu Nnamdi Kanu for creating a platform for Biafrans to reunite again.
