Today, the 14th September 2018, Sit-at-Home ordered by the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), is a day to be particularly reckoned with in the history of freedom fighters world over. Besides keeping all businesses both government and private under lock and key, it keeps South East governors in panic mode extensively as Nigerian journalists covering the sit-at-home order are offered huge sums of money by these governors to falsify their stories.
This is further authenticated by a reliable source reporting the lamentation of a white foreign female journalist, who is part of the international media team covering the ongoing general strike in Biafraland ordered by IPOB in protest against the invasion of Afaraukwu the home of the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This foreign female journalist, whose name has been withheld for security reasons, has complained bitterly that one of his Nigerian colleagues has been offered 1million Naira by Gov. Dave Umahi not to publish the success of the Sit-at-home; and to falsify every truth she would gather about the entire Sit at home, in Ebonyi State.
This is just one of the broader bribery practices of the governors in Biafra land. These bribery are designed to compromise the integrity of journalists covering the event of the Indigenous people of Biafra and fight against her struggle for self-determination. These false leaders and their corrupt individual colleagues do not want the world to know the truth about the doggedness of IPOB in their quest for the restoration of the Sovereign State of Biafra. They do not want the world to know about the success of today's sit-at-home, ordered by IPOB in remembrance of the invasion of the Isiama Afara Ukwu Umuahia, residence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on the 14th of September 2017, and those killed in the act.
At the time of this report, a source close to the Abia writers disclosed how the newspaper editors of notable media houses in Lagos and Abuja, have been inundated with calls from representatives of South East governors and the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Information. They are promised obscene amounts of money to ensure that they do not air the success of the Sit at home. They are warned not to publish pictures showing how empty and deserted streets and roads across Biafraland are because of compliance to the IPOB order.
In another development, a source close to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja disclosed how the Nigerian government has warned NAN. They were warned not to show pictures of the emptiness of streets and roads in any of their publications, that is if they should ever comment on the strict obedience of people to the IPOB Sit-at-home order. Meanwhile, Abia Writers are doing noble, by reporting on the spot event, including sending live videos and pictures of the actual state of Biafra land to international and local media houses; this is important to avoid Nigerian media replacing truth with falsehood.
The amount of money offered to journalists in the South East and their editors is mouth-watering, to that extent therefore, the chances of their being compelled to compromise is undoubted. Hence, the need to send on the spot information to the world before compromised journalists will start doing the evil they have been paid to do. This is quite unfortunate.
So far the report being gathered is showing that Abia, Imo, Anambra, Rivers, record total compliance with the order. Delta, Bayelsa, Enugu and Ebonyi by now are recording 85% compliance while Enugu capital city and Abakaliki record skeletal human presence, most of whom are Nigerian government workers. In all the states mentioned above, all markets are closed, popular roads, streets, avenues, junctions, bus stops, parks, restaurants, shops, recreation places, football pitches, etc are entirely closed down.
What a compliance with an Order. IPOB is formidable, it must be added. From all indication, the so-called "South East governors" and their accomplice, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Buratai and his killer army appear to have failed entirely as expected and have been defeated without IPOB firing a bullet. It is noteworthy that judging by the obedience of the people to IPOB order, it will not be considered a rash conclusion, therefore, to say that IPOB are the people, and the people are IPOB, little wonder the quest for the independence of Biafra is every Biafran primary preoccupation.
