THE Biafra land national women leader Mrs Ukamaka Ejezie popularly
known as (MAMA BIAFRA) on Thursday, September 6 2018 paid a visit
to the Ebonyi state IPOB women wing to show solidarity over the arrest and
detention of some women from the state who were among those arrested at Owerri
Imo state, on 17th August, 2018 while on a peaceful protest against the
injustice meted on Biafrans by the Nigeria government as well as demanding for
the way about of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who got missing since 14th
September, 2017 after the Nigeria army invaded his father's palace at Afaraukwu
Ibeku in Umuahia Abia state.
The meeting which many women from across the state IPOB family attended
was held in Abakaliki the Ebonyi state capital, the state IPOB women leader,
Evangelist Mrs Chioma Iwuala was also in attendance and the women leaders from
the three senatorial districts in Ebonyi state.
During the brief meeting, Mama Biafra appreciated the efforts and the
doggedness of the IPOB women in the state, she urged them to further strength
their evangelical outreach, both in the market place, motor parks and
individually. "You need to go for evangelism, in motor parks, markets and
individual bases, our people need to be informed".
She equally solicited with the women who were among those arrested at
Imo state by the Nigeria police on 17th August, 2018. she vehemently condemned
the act by the Nigeria police saying that "It is barbaric and evil to
arrest and detain those innocent women and subdue them under such severe
punishment like they did."
She urged the women to remain resolute and never get deterred, because
Biafra restoration is sacrosanct and according to her, "Biafra must be
restored by all means".
Speaking during the meeting, the Ebonyi state IPOB women leader,
Evangelist Mrs Chioma Iwuala appreciated 'Mama Biafra' and all the women who
attended the special meeting.
They equally deliberated on the best ways to get the people of Ebonyi
state at large comply to the Biafra general strike on 14th September, 2018, as
declared by IPOB to remember and morn the innocent Biafrans that were killed by
the Nigeria army, during the activities of operation Python dance, lunched to
thwart the struggle for Biafra restoration led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of IPOB.
The women took time to pray for the missing IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
wherever he is. At the same time prayed for the souls of Biafrans murdered by
the Nigeria army during the operation Python dance to rest in peace, even as
they will be remembered and honoured on 14th September, 2018.
