BIAFRA: The IPOB Enugu Women Wing Visit The Family Of Mazi Chukwuemeka Ogbodo Who Is Still Detention In Maximum Enugu Prison

ENUGU—On 8th of August, 2018. The IPOB Enugu Women Wing paid a concerned visitation to the family of a hardcore IPOB coordinator, Mazi Chukwuemeka Ogbodo, whom is still under custody at the Enugu maximum prison as a result of being falsely accused of murder by his residential landlord due to his unable to meet up the agreed payment of house rent.

The elegant women of IPOB visited his Children in their home town, Egenchi Village in Neke community of Isi-Uzo LGA of Enugu State. On their arrival to family compound by 2:15pm, they gave song of praises to Chukwuokike Abiama the most high God and made an opening prayer with the family member.

Word of exhortation and encouragements was given to the children who lost their mother at the same time their father was arrested and still under detention.

Though the kids were never allowed to visit their father Mazi Chukwuemeka Ogbodo due to there under age in accordance to the rules of Nigeria prison authority.

Since his wife's departure, even till her burial he was never given the opportunities to bid farewell to his lovely wife whom couldn't survive the ugly incidence of her darling husband being detained for a case he knew nothing about.

According to his children, if not for the wickedness and heartless acts of Mr Emeka Burundi, the wicked landlord whom falsely accused our daddy of killing a Fulani man which he has never dreamt of but rather did this just to punish them by implicating their father in such a wicked and injustice act.

The eldest daughter also the first child of Mazi Chukwuemeka Ogbodo, by his name Miss Glory Ogbodo, also stated that their landlord Mr Emeka Burundi, after his unlawful act towards their father, the landlord collected and hide their father's cell phone in other to cement the incidents as a secret act.

She said that her siblings have been taken to the village to stay with their uncle while she's squatting with some friends in Enugu town just to stay closed to his father who is still on detention in the prison.

The Enugu Women Wing of IPOB has today proving to us that we are still valuable in the society as they deemed it right to forfeit the August women's conference activities just to show us their kindness and magnanimity towards me and my young ones as they offered some food items and some cash to enable them feed better till the return of our father.

 The IPOB women prayed for the family that God almighty will bless, favour, provide, protect the family. According to the message sent by Mazi Chukwuemeka Ogbodo from Enugu maximum prison, he said he is not worried at all because he knows that if he dies, he is going to die as a Biafran hero but as he still lives, he is going to be celebrated as one of the men whom were prosecuted for their belief in Biafra struggle. He expressed sadness for the death of his lovely wife. The IPOB Enugu East women wing lead by Mrs Veronica Nnamani condole the family and offered the packages they brought for the family for their welfare and also, group pictures were taken with the family.
