The leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who has demanded that the Nigerian government discuss with him in a peaceful manner concerning his quest for Biafran freedom or go into debate with him over the matter. He said, "If Nigeria wins, we remain one Nigeria, if Biafra wins, we have our freedom" but Muhammadu Buhari ignored him.
Nnamdi Kanu, re-strategized by staging peaceful protests in all parts of Biafra land (South South and South East) to let the world know exactly what the people want; a one million man march that took IPOB struggle to the Guinness book of world record as the biggest mass movement in the world. The Nigerian government used force to stop the peaceful movement and create confusion by shooting live bullets at innocent unarmed protesters. In every protest carried out by IPOB, the Nigerian government ensured they are massacred by the Nigerian security agencies. Those people dying are the people who are supposed to be in promise land called Biafra.
Again, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu re-strategized by ordering his followers to replace street protests with sit at home protests. Biafrans were massacred in their numbers on Biafran Heroes’ Remembrance day 2016, so on that particular day in 2017 and 2018, Biafraland was shut down as Biafrans sat at home to tell the world who owns the land. Sit at home has been used by IPOB as a practice for the referendum.
As Nigerian government is planning for 2019 election, IPOB is also planning on how to boycott the election and conduct their referendum. 2019 election in Nigeria will once again show who is who in Biafraland. Vote as a Nigerian, SIT-AT-HOME as a Biafran-the Final stage of the struggle.
