The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Igweocha have today being the 23rd day of May 2018, embarked on a rally to sensitise our people about Biafra Heroes remembrance day. They celebrate this every year all over Biafra land. Thus, this year's heroes day has been marked to be observed this year as has been the status quo.
Every 30th May in the history of Biafrans is a day in which Biafrans remember and commemorate together for the fallen heroes and heroines who were maimed as a result of evils unleashed on them by murderous Nigeria security agents. 30th May 2018 has been slated to be a day for Biafrans to sit at their homes in honour of the dead.
Recent preparations by IPOB in different provinces such as Igweocha, Aba, Asaba, Enugu etc, reveals that Biafrans are ready to sit at homes come 30th.

Meanwhile, The rally at Igweocha kicked off at exactly 10:45am right from Eleme junction. Biafrans marched peacefully with their flags, play cards and other materials bearing the SIT- AT-HOME inscriptions. As they marched, they were singing and dancing until they reached the ever busy Rumuodara junction. Hence, as usual, and as always expected the Nigerian combined forces came and opened fire on them, shooting unarmed peaceful Biafrans on evangelism.
However, we thank the highest Chiukwu Okike for no life was lost but severe injuries were sustained. IPOB members were abducted and taken to an unknown destination; there's not been any trace of their whereabouts.
We are calling on the Nigerian combined forces Army, DSS, police etc. to release our people they abducted today, you must release them because they committed no crime, they were only on a peaceful rally, is it written anywhere in the Nigeria constitution that if one particular group embark on a rally they should be abducted? They should tell us the reason why they should seize our people.
