Mazi Uche Okafor Mefor the deputy leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Thursday, April 12 2018 during the live Radio Biafra transmission direct from London, addressed the commotion of idea among the members of IPOB for a long period of time before then. Mazi Uche Mefor as popularly called gave the order and directives that from then henceforth, no member of IPOB should use the expression IPOB under Mazi Nnamdi Kanu quoting that IPOB is only one.
Base on his explanation on the matter he said that one saying IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu simply means that IPOB are two or more headed by different persons. "IPOB is only one headed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and from now henceforth no member of IPOB should use the expression IPOB under Nnamdi Kanu else the person will be seen as our enemy"
He further explained that IPOB as the original owners of Biafra territory has being in existence for thousands of years, and was formed by Chukwuokikeabiama, but it was Nnamdi Kanu that registered it worldwide as a freedom fighting group to liberate their land from the hands of oppressors and that is why they are being accepted with good recognition globally.
Recall that members of IPOB worldwide especially in Biafra land frequently use the expression both in oral speech and writing to distinguish their stand from other acclaimed sets of IPOB championed by some suspected directorate of state members of IPOB due to disobedient to the supreme leader few years ago by Nnamdi Kanu himself.
The expression is equally being used by the members of IPOB to further prove their total loyalty and support for Nnamdi Kanu who is the supreme leader of IPOB as well as director of Radio Biafra and Biafra television worldwide.
But on Thursday night Radio Biafra London live transmission, the deputy leader of IPOB sounded the warning that no one should use the expression else will be regarded as an enemy of IPOB.
This according to some members of IPOB who expressed their feelings over the directives on social media were of the opinion that it is a welcomed development, because the insinuation of division was sowed into the minds of the genuine IPOB members to have the feelings that there are divisions among the group or perhaps there exist other forms of IPOB anywhere headed by different persons, and members should be disillusioned from such mindset for total concentration to be gathered and forces joined together to actualize Biafra.
Some were also of the side that the development is a clear indication that Uche Mefor being the deputy leader of IPOB and deputy director Radio Biafra and Biafra television knows what he is doing in piloting the affairs of IPOB since it was handed over to him by the supreme leader Nnamdi Kanu, following his illegal abduction and detention by the Nigeria DSS oppressors.
It is therefore more than necessary for all the members of IPOB worldwide especially those in Biafra land to adhere to this instructions and directives, because it will do more good than harm, as it will further cripple the activities of the enemies in all ramifications.
