Biafrans discussing the death at Nkpor |

Just yesterday, October 20, 2017, three people were
killed simply because All Progressives Congress (APC) commenced their campaigns
for the forthcoming election in Anambra State. Three people were reported dead at
Nkpor junction, Onitsha, because Tony Nwoye, the party’s governorship candidate
came to town.
As usual with the APC (Buhari’s) government, which
is obsessed with “showing force” at every given opportunity, the drivers of the
vehicles in Tony Nwoye’s convoy were driving recklessly like bats out of hell
when one of them hit and killed a passerby. As is expected, the people got
angry and started protesting. In the midst of the protest, one of his security
personnel opened fire on the crowd, killing two more people. That location of
Onitsha is now in a mourning mood.
That election comes up on November 18 – some 27
clear days from today – yet lives are already being lost. This is a major
reason why Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) decided to boycott the election –
because everything Buhari has ever touched was laden with violence and death. They
know how murderous the Nigerian state, under Muhammadu Buhari, has become; and
that he is ready to wipe out an entire population just to get his way.
It is because of the murderous intents of APC
government and its agents, and their activities; as well as the violence they
always unleash on the populace that the Biafrans have decided to boycott the election.
Boycotting it, they have stated, will also help to showcase to the world that
Biafrans are tired of being in a country which only legacy is to terrorize and
murder its own citizens. Now, imagine that Nwoye has not even become anything
in government and yet the smell of death has started following him around.
Boycotting the election and other elections in
Biafraland, the people insist, will give them the moral standing to start organizing
themselves by themselves on how to govern themselves. It would make it
impossible for people to be elected who would give allegiance to the evil and
occupying forces of Nigeria to brutalize their own people.
From the Deputy Leader of IPOB, Uche Mefor, a
successful boycott of the Anambra election will be the first foot forward in organizing
the referendum that will permanently set Biafra and Biafrans free from Nigeria’s
demonic hold. So, boycott is no longer just civil defence; it is now the best
way to stay alive.
