The World Bank country director for Nigeria, Marie-Francoise Marie-Nelly, some years ago said that 63% or 100 million Nigerians were destitute, they live below the poverty line. In her words, “1.2 billion people live in destitution (around the world) out of which 100 million are Nigerians. Inequality is rising in many developing nations.

Quoting World Bank, “National poverty rate is the percentage of the population living below the national poverty line. ” The poverty threshold, or national poverty line, is the minimum level of income deemed adequate in a given country. It is an insular figure which is set and varies by countries.

A study of over 200 beggars and destitute in Lagos (a state in the Western region of Nigeria) is presented. Their mean age was 36.3 years, and there was a preponderance of male over female. Majority of the beggars were Hausa and their religion was Muslim. Seventy-three (51.8%) of the beggars and destitute attended Arabic (Koranic) schools only while 53 (37.6%) had no schooling at all.

Nigeria!!! @57 is a country where corruption and terrorism is the tradition and norm.
A country where our ancestors have refused to respect themselves and be an exemplar.
A country where the supposed leaders of tomorrow despise uprightness, allowing themselves to be used as puppets by the puppeteers.
A country filled with hypocrites and destitute.
True liberation and independence can only exist in doing what is right.
A country where celebrating mediocrity is the norm.
Don't take the little freedom you have for granted, someone had to work hard and make many sacrifices for it.

Each time l listen to Nigeria's National Anthem, I can't help but squeeze my face.
Apparently, it is obvious that this present crop of leaders either do not understand English or have refused to understand the lyrics.
A part of the lines states.....
'' One Nation bound in freedom"
My face is still squeezed despite that today is Sunday and also the first day of a new month.

THE HYPOCRISY AND STATE-BACKED TERRORISM OF NIGERIA:

"NIGERIAN JUDICIARY vs  MAZI NNAMDI KANU" a Clearer Analysis.

Nigerian state and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu had a fight as regards to freedom of Biafrans (self-determination)  the fight resulted in a court case.

The Nigerian state accused Mazi Nnamdi Kanu so bad, hence the court remanded Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in prison.

After 18 months of intensive court sitting and hearing, it was done to all human consciousness that Nigeria state has no case against the accused  (Mazi Nnamdi Kanu), thus, Nnamdi Kanu was bailed while the case was adjourned.

Furthermore, the Nigerian state couldn't wait to appear in court against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (which is slated to 17th of October, 2017). Then on the 14th of September, 2017, President Mohammadu Buhari decided to send some of his loyalists (the Nigerian military ) to assassinate  Mazi Nnamdi Kanu even when the case is ongoing in a competent judiciary court.

Mr. President's loyalists came to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's house in Afara Ukwu Ibeku, Abia state, they shot live ammunition, there were bullet holes in the walls and windows of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's house and there were dead bodies of Biafrans, some which were Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's relatives. All these are exhibits of an attempted murder against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Now, my question is,
will the court still summon Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and judge him without doing anything to the executive arm of the Nigerian state?

Will the court be silent on the acts of Mr. President's loyalists (the Nigerian military) as if nothing happened?

If this happens, then there is no law in Nigeria. Or rather, there is "no rule of law" in Nigeria.

The truth remains that the cause of the issue is yet unresolved hence the Biafra struggle is far from over.
The Nigerian military should get ready to kill much more Biafrans because It is only a madman that does the same thing and expect another result.

The truth is that even if Mazi Nnamdi Kanu gets killed, much more will arise.
It calls for concern because we the young ones are growing with pathological and psychological hatred on Nigeria state, most of us prefer to die than to be called or addressed as a "Nigerian".

Just like you treated a house help in a bad way, even with all the domestic jobs in d house and you do not treat your children likewise, you are only helping the house help for the future without knowing.

This government will one day be over and the books shall be opened for remembrance by another government. Pa Mohammadu Buhari's government will always be a reference for any judgment concerning the Biafra question.

Pa Mohammadu Buhari's kinsmen "The Fulani Herdsmen" (they are also the fourth deadliest terrorist group in the whole world).
If these Fulani herdsmen who we all have seen their pictures and videos carrying Ak47 machine guns have not been declared terrorists because they are the kinsmen of Mr. President, but people carrying sticks in self-defense which is in law are tagged terrorists, then something has happened to the senses of those called Nigerians.

The Igbo's are highly marginalized in this country, it is no longer an argument neither is it debatable, It is not something you guess, it is as clear as crystal.
We work so hard to make ends means, nothing to make life easy or happy thereafter, no amusement parks and all that, No federal presence (except for the military roadblocks), all our roads are death traps, yet police mounts every pole, collecting money and harassing or even shooting at any person who refuses to give them bribe (money). The hustle, the pain, the neglect, the frustration and the intimidation is unbearable my brothers.

It's not just for pity sake.
This was same treatment given to Israelites in Egypt.

And when we complain, we are killed instead.

The government knows exactly what to do for peace to reign but they are just too proud to ensure for peace. This is also as a result of bad advisers.
Let them do the right thing before it is too late.

Any sane person can sense the desperation in Pa. Mohammadu Buhari's governments.

You can hold tight to your views which you are entitled to, but you can't coarse me to think like you"-Ikenna Echekoba.

Mary Wollstonecraft also said, "what makes you a human being is your ability to reason, if you can't reason, then you are an animal"
Nigerians have continuously proven to be animals because they lack the rationale abilities, they keep on forcing us to be with them.
It's just like forcing me to accept your views, like, using 6, and 9., "I am standing, and from where I stand, I see '6'.
From where you stand, you see '9'.
So, what makes me a nincompoop?
Is it not better for us to exchange standing positions for a better perusal?
Pointing a gun at me to accept '9' will never erase from my mind that all I saw was '6'.

I will end this piece by quoting a great African leader who had visions  Thomas Sankara.
"It took the madmen of yesterday for us to be able to act with extreme clarity today. I want to be one of those madmen. We must dare to invent the future .- Thomas Sankara (1949-1987).

All hail Biafra.
