The Constitution is a statement of the basic principles and laws according to which a nation-state is governed. The Constitution grants every citizen freedom of speech, freedom of association and freedom of worship among other things, but the Nigerian government denied Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the right to associate with his family members, his friends and kinsmen. They even stopped him from worshipping his creator. But every Friday, Hausa/Fulani go to the mosque to worship their Allah. The Nigerian constitution gives right of freedom of speech to all citizens but whenever the Biafrans lament over hatred and inhuman treatment from the Nigerian government, they call it hate speech.
They are trying to use what they call "the constitution" to arrest and prosecute Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, accusing him of hate speech simply because he is speaking out against injustice and marginalization meted out to his people. They are going outside the constitution to make sure they nail him because according to the constitution, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has committed no crime.
Muhammadu Buhari told ex-President (Good luck Jonathan) "I will make Nigeria ungovernable for you" and he went ahead and carried out his threat, Malam Nasir El-Rufai said that "Abuja is not for poor people", Former president Olusegun Obasanjo said that Education is not for the poor, when the former Senate president David Alechenu Mark was the communication minister, he said “telephone is not for the poor”, nobody accused any of these men of hate speech. Ariwa youths gave three months quit notice to Biafrans living in the north, as if that is not enough, they went ahead and released a music urging their people to massacre the Biafrans. Are all these not hate speech? All these people should be arrested before talking about arresting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The northerners are killing the Biafrans, they kill Biafrans at little or no provocation, yet someone is still talking about one Nigeria. The world can see that we are not one and can never be one. We are different in all spheres of life, different languages, different dressing code, different food, different value system and different religion. Our difference is so obvious that Lord Lugard who created Nigeria said that “the northern and the southern Nigeria are like water and oil that can never mix”.
In order to stop this Biafra restoration project, on 10th of September 2017, the Nigerian armed forces laid siege at the compound of the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB). Their plan was to provoke IPOB to shoot at them so that they will see an excuse to kill the leader of IPOB and his members around him, but IPOB are non-violent citizens who bear no arms as such did not shoot at them. These military men were frustrated and in their frustration started shooting carelessly which resulted in the death of some people and injury to many including one of the IPOB BSS who was shot on the leg. Yet there was no reaction from IPOB.
They were disappointed but not deterred, they were determined to fulfil their task which was to kill Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. On 14th September, they mobilized to the home of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and started shooting sporadically as if they were in the war front. They killed everybody and every living thing in sight including a dog and took away all the corpses leaving only three dead bodies and the unfortunate dog. Nnamdi Kanu is a prophet of Chukwuokike Abiama sent to come and free his people from slavery in the hands of those who do not know God, so we are confident that Chukwuokike Abiama will always protect his own no matter how hard the enemies try.
The world should not just keep quiet and watch while these bloodthirsty savages continue to kill Biafrans extra judicially and against all international laws and conventions domesticated by Nigeria. It is very obvious that whatever they do cannot stop the restoration of Biafra because we have made up our minds that enough is enough, we cannot continue in a country where we are seen as second-class citizens, a country where our supposed fellow citizens value their cattle more than us. We can’t continue to live with people who want to force their religion on us, forgetting that we are Children of the most high God, Eze Chiukwu Okike Abiama. All Hall Biafra.
