BUHARI'S ORDER TO SERVICE CHIEFS ON BSS

Buhari, a one-time military general in Nigeria, still has that military instinct in him. The way he gives orders and reacts to certain problems facing the country clearly shows that he is dictatorial. He has forgotten that he is no longer a military ruler but a democratic presidency as it were.

Buhari travelled to London on medical ground as alleged; by that, failing one of his campaign manifestoes about ending medical tourism in this country by building quality medical centres or facilities once elected as the president. Two years on, he hasn't fulfilled his political promises making him incompetent. He came back after 105 days in London, instead of tackling the major problems facing Nigeria or find solutions to the current economic trauma the country is going through, all he deemed fit to address was the Biafra issue.

On Tuesday, Buhari had a closed door meeting with his service chiefs. The outcome of the meeting was that; the service chiefs should do anything humanly possible to curb the activities of IPOB and her BSS (Biafra security service). The Chief of Defence Gen. Gabriel Olonisakan who was part of the meeting said: "We have been meeting with Mr. president for the past three hours. We updated him on all security issues around the country, within the country and outside the country where our troops are. "Of course, we have just updated him because he is aware of the happening. He has been receiving regular briefings from the acting president and he has also been going through the print media and electronic media to follow the happenings in the country.

"After the meeting, he has deducted on some areas we should look at so as to enhance our operations in the country. "The issues of security, all security threats were treated one after the other ranging from terrorism to kidnapping, herdsmen/farmers clash, to IPOB issue. In his address to the nation, he talked about the unity of the nation which according to him is non-negotiable. We have all been fully instructed to ensure that that directive is carried out to the letter", he said. "We are going to enhance our operations in all the areas we need to do that, like I said, he has given the necessary directives which will be caused out by the military and the security agencies.

I still don't understand the perspective this service chiefs were coming from, which made them try to rope in the IPOB as a security threat. The BSS is just an armless security body, which helps in guiding the IPOB members during rallies. Because of the activities of the BSS, stampede and chaos have been averted on several occasions during rallies or protest, and now they were given official uniform without arms and Nigeria is shaking. IPOB and her leader have never been violent, they have never carried arms nor disrupted the free flow of peace around the world, rather they are being killed by the Nigerian military men for no reason.

If the IPOB's BSS, will be arrested or dissolved it means all security bodies in the contraption called Nigeria that work towards restoring of sanity in the face of chaos or working tirelessly to see that there is what they called peace and order in the society, will as well be dissolved ranging from the Nigerian military down to security men in Banks, so as to have a balance in Buhari's fight against terrorism.

Buhari's order to treat IPOB the way Bokoharam is treated means that he, (Buhari) is not law abiding or knowledgeable about the rule of law because a court of qualified jurisdiction declared IPOB a legal organization which the Nigerian constitution supports in the law concerning human rights as enshrined in their constitution. IPOB's BSS will be dealt with while the armed sharia police in Kano will be allowed to flourish. What hypocrisy! If Buhari likes, he can lump IPOB with ISIS, it's part of his hatred for the Igbos just like ECA (Eastern consultative forum) said through her secretary Evang.Elliot. We know these directives of Buhari were borne out of mere hatred.

Nigeria can do all they like, they can go to far away hell, just as they have signed a military deal with Russia, to halt our moves. We will still remain resolute before our enemies until Biafra is restored.
