For Biafra Choice Writers
The recent call by the Arewa-Fulani people of
Northern Nigeria for the re-arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of
Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is an ominous sign for the little that is left
of the massively raped zoological republic of Nigeria. This is so especially
when one takes into consideration the justification given for the call – that Kanu
was using hate-speech as well as breach of his bail conditions. Meanwhile, in
spite of all the atrocities of Fulani elders and their youths, no one is
calling for their arrests.
This is a clear demonstration that Nigeria is a
country riddled with all manner of unjust practices, where there are different
yardsticks for different folks. For having such audacity to call for the arrest
of the leader of the Biafran people has exposed the infinite lack of sense of
history of those myopic elements behind such a call, and as the saying goes,
those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
We can categorically state that the call for the
re-arrest of the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the northern elements
portends great danger for the fragile existence of Nigeria as the consequence
of such folly will be a disaster. We are by this publication placing the world
on notice that any attempt by the Nigerian authority, either by act of omission
or commission, to re-arrest our Supreme leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, will be
treated as an outright invitation for anarchy that shall spell doom for
humanity. It will be in the best interest of the Ariwa-Fulani northern
oligarchy to trade with absolute caution in issues concerning the
self-determination and freedom of Biafrans from Nigeria, since the right to
self-determination is our inalienable and God’s given rights which nobody can
deprive us of, more so in this 21st century.
Since the illegal abduction of the leader of IPOB
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in October 13, 2015, by the Nigerian government, there have
been records of brutalities, senseless and unprovoked killings of unarmed IPOB
protesters by the Nigerian authority under the command of Muhammadu Buhari.
Yet, in the face of all these brutalities and provocations, IPOB have
maintained disciplined and had never resorted to violence. This level of sense
of magnanimity so far displayed by IPOB should never be misconstrued as an act
of cowardice by the Arewa-Fulani north and the Nigerian government as to
attempt to come close to our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in a bid to re-arrest him,
as any such attempt shall be vehemently resisted.
Gone are the days when we were being touted as a
people without a single leader. Now we have one, and he is Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
whom we are prepared to protect with our lives. On that note, we the people of
Biafra view the call by some mischief makers of the north, the Arewa-Fulani,
for the re-arrest of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as a flagrant display of
idiocy and disrespect to the collect sensibility of the people of Biafra for
whom Mazi Nnamdi Kanu represents.
We are making it clear to the whole world in general
and Nigeria in particular that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not just our leader, he is
also our Prophet, our Savoir and Redeemer. He is to us the people of Biafra
what Jesus Christ is to the Christians. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is to us what Muhammed
is to the Muslims, and as Muslims who are always eager to kill and slaughter
for any slightest perceived assault on Muhammed, so are we also ready and
prepared to sink the damnable zoological republic of Nigeria should they
stupidly dare us and try to arrest our Supreme leader again this time. In fact,
all hell shall let lose. This is not a treat but a candid promise.
Our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has committed no offence
definable in the Nigerian judicial system. Thus, the series of unconditional
releases granted him by two renowned federal high court judges and one
magistrate court, exonerating him of all bogus charges preferred against him by
the roughish Nigerian government.
If there is anybody who deserves arrest, impeachment
and imprisonment, it is Muhammadu Buhari himself who on a several occasions has
brazenly disobeyed court orders asking for the release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. If
there is anyone who should arrested and prosecuted, it is Lawal Daura the
Director General of DSS who has shamelessly refused to obey a court order to
release Bright Chimezie Ishinwa. If there is anyone who deserves arrest it is
the Arewa elders like Tanko Yakasaai and Junaid Muhammed whose arrest and
detention alongside Arewa Youths has been demanded by the United Nation for
incitement to commit genocide with their recent treasonous quit notice issued
to Biafrans living in the north. These are men of no pedigree whose antecedents
and past records are replete with orgy of violence and a penchant for violation
of rules of law.
If Nigeria is in her right state of mind, men such
as these are the ones to be arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned for their
numerous excesses, and not the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi
Nnamdi Kanu who is merely exercising his fundamental and universal human rights
to freedom of expression, association and self-determination. Furthermore, the
laughable bail conditions handed to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the Fulani Sharia Judge
Binta Nyako, which had received an avalanche of condemnation from both local
and international observers, is an outright violation of the very laws of
Nigeria she claims she's upholding. Binta Nyako by this singular display of
incompetence, did violate the right to freedom of speech and association, which
as a judge, she ought to have known better. Therefore, had Nigeria not being a
roughish state, Binta Nyako deserves to be cooling her heals in the prison by
now for violation of rule of law.
We warn that the Arewa-Fulani must put their
excesses in check and steer clear from our leader to let the sleeping dog lie.
At this critical point in Nigeria’s history, every rational thinking being
ought to have seen clearly that Nigeria is sitting very closely to the cag of
gun powder. The Ariwa-Fulani must understand that Biafrans can no longer be
intimidated by such useless ranting and their out-fashion rhetoric for the
non-negotiability of the decaying contraption called the damnable republic of
Nigeria. The Ariwa-Fulani must be living in the past with such a stale
mentality of the 15th century by still holding on to the ideal of unity by
force which has become the hallmark of Nigerian murderous establishment since
its inception. But we are prepared for them this time around and whatever they
want from us, that we shall give to them.
We understand that Nigeria is just a time bomb
waiting for explosion. The last tick before this eminent explosion will be the
attempt to arrest our supreme leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigerian
authority. However, rest assured that when this time bomb eventually goes off,
everything that breaths will feel the heat in every corner of Nigeria and
beyond. This is not a threat but a candid promise. Dare us at your own peril.
We the people of Biafra use this medium to send a stern warning note to the
Nigerian murderous establishment to steer clear from our Supreme Leader Mazi
Nnamdi Kanu, and to the Arewa-Fulani northern oligarchy to take their dirty
mouths off of our quest for self-determination. It is our God’s given rights
and we owe nobody any apologies for asking for our Freedom. We must restore
Biafra since Chukwu-okike Abiama is with us. There is nothing any mortal can do
to stop this. If you are expecting that arresting our leader will douse the
tempo of this revolution, then you are in one almighty mess as his arrest will in
fact produce the exact opposite of your expectation. A stich in time saves
nine.
