Biafrans in Ebonyi state Biafra land has expressed their readiness to join Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in the state under the watch of Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya, just few days after the visit of the supreme leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the Director of Radio Biafra and Biafra Television to the state.
The visit of Ohamadiki to the state lighted up the fire of evangelism, mobilization and inauguration of unites and zones more than ever, in the nooks and crannies of the state, the leadership of IPOB in the state especially the coordinator Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya has vowed never to rest until IPOB family penetrate inside all the communities in the state. The citizens of the state has displayed their total readiness to join IPOB in the struggle to restore the sovereign state of Biafra.
On 5 August, 2017 The good people of Onu Nwa Ebonyi Ezzagu, expressed their high level of joy over the first Ebonyi state IPOB visitation to the community to preach the gospel for Biafra restoration, our media correspondent Alagba Chiedozie who was among the visitors reports that the people welcomed them with a heart full of joy, as they pleaded for a zone to be inaugurated as soon as possible to enable them participate fully in the struggle to restore Biafra.
Nwali Emmanuel an elder in the community who welcomed the IPOB deligation lamented the high level of marginalization of the community by the state and federal government of Nigeria, he noted that the community is devoid of social amenities, "Here we do not have any form of social amenities working effectively, not even good road network to the city where we can sale our farm produce, or steady power supply but we give them our votes all the time' we are tired of this government, all we need is Biafra and whatever we are demanded of for Biafra to come we must do it."
Mazi Gabriel Nworie and Donatus Ejikeme assured that the community will come out in mass in all the activities of IPOB in the quest to restore Biafra, saying that power belongs to the people and the power will be channeled to restore Biafra because Nigeria government has failed long ago, they added that no amount of force or intimidation will stop them from fighting for their right which is Biafra.
The leader of IPOB deligation to the community Mazi Alagba Chiedozie while addressing them said "Biafra is our last hope and we must join hands together to get it restored, your input is very much important because Biafra belong to us".
