The storm is gathering in the midst of a ceremony. The rainmaker must assemble his magical tools to stop this looming storm, otherwise all the investments set to make the ceremony a memorable one would be a colossal waste.
Some youths from the northern part of Nigeria backed up by the northern elites are behind this looming storm with their declaration called "Kaduna Declaration".
This declaration has raised eyebrows from different parts of the country. If the essence of the quit order is to test the resolve of the Biafran people and then unleash terror on them to have them surrendered a second time, the consequences are better imagined.
Even as I was still a little kid and was just hearing Biafra, I knew it would happen in our generation. I knew that Nigeria will never ordinary allow Biafra to go, hence the threat (ie. the quit order/Kaduna Declaration). It is very clear that the northerners want to slaughter us like Ramadan RAM; like they did in 1945 at Jos, The Kano riot of 1953, The 1966 pogrom, The genocide of 1967-70, The Kano riot of 1980, The 1991 Reinhard Bonnke riot in northern Nigeria, The 1992 riot, The 1994 beheading of Gideon Akaluka and the riots that followed, The 1991 massacre of the Yorubas, and many more riots against the south side in the same ONE NIGERIA. It is sad!!!
This time around, we are ready and prepared for the looming storm (war), but for the sake of HUMANITY we are giving Nigeria an option of a peaceful separation just like ho
IRELAND separated from the UNITED KINGDOM in 1921, in 1944 ICELAND also separated from DENMARK with remarkable ease, even as in 1992-93 CZECHOSLOVAKIA peacefully agreed to split into two separate countries, "The CZECH REPUBLIC" and "SLOVAKIA" were formed. We are simply calling on the Nigerian government to avert the looming storm by conducting a Referendum for the Biafrans to determine their fate.
We are pro-peace in our hard struggle, we are working on laid down international laws for self-determination, we have been provoked severely and enormously but we still chose the path of peace. Looking back at history, we would not allow our long-standing enemy catch us off guard in view of this threat. The truth must be told, it is time to go home because you cannot continue to be begging your for to love you neither can you roll back their deep-seated hates....
The storm should be averted just for the sake of humanity!!!
