De sky so bright
But folks dwell in fright
De land so blessed
But in penury we 're soaked
White sons
Dark sons
Strangers teamed up against us
Okike hear my cry
Our land has been raped
Okike hear my cry
For ur Children 're being killed
When He strikes,
A ravaging thunder!
His anger,
Unquenchable fire!
But shall mortal souls ever listen!
Shall they pay heed to warnings?
De lash of His sacred whip
De fire on its tip
None can ever withstand.
Monkeys beware!
Baboons beware!
All of you in de zoo
Dressed up in uniforms
Pay heed to warnings
'N make haste while sun still shines
For so heavy His storm
'N so lengthy to calm
Behold a storm coming
Coming, coming 'n coming
Dis heavenly kingdom
Restored, freedom assured
No force ever can withstand
No evil planned, ever’ll stand
Dis struggle for restoration
Already in play
Dis kingdom of heaven
Is here to stay
Oh Biafra! Land of de rising sun
Oh Biafra, de land of heroes
Ur coming is divinely assured
In you hope is restored
In you peace shall we find.
Biafra, de kingdom of heaven on earth
