Nigeria Army sets up cover-up committee to obscure its atrocities against Biafrans but Biafrans wait for them at The Hague

Nigerian Army is playing its third card to possibly counter, and undermine Amnesty International’s (AI) report against its series of murder of Biafrans. This latest card is the setting up of a so-called military committee to investigate the allegations of extra-judicial killings which they have been perpetrating against Biafrans since the devil, Muhammadu Buhari, became Nigerian president.

Looked at from all ramifications, one can only say that Nigeria’s military rulers will never cease to amaze the world with their childish stunts. Imagine that after threatening to kill Biafrans, and then giving orders for his men to do so, the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Burutai would now set up a committee to investigate those same killings. Imagine that the same allegations of killings, which he sent his men to claim were spurious, is what he now wants to investigate. In other words, they did not first find out about those allegations and yet went on to brand them spurious.

This is coming after he had sent out two of his men to refute the accusations of murder against the Army. First, he sent Colonel Aminu Iliyasu (said to be the Deputy Director of Nigerian Army Public Relations). Iliyasu failed in his assignment to deceive the world that the AI report was falls. He then sent Rabe Abubakar, the Chief of Defence spokesman. Abubakar with his own spin described the allegations as spurious, and even went ahead to threatened AI. It was after seeing that all these attempts to rubbish the AI report and cover-up the extra-judicial murders that he is now playing the “investigation committee” stunt.

All in all, what he has done is to handpick his fellow Biafran haters “pogromists” and is asking them to justify “crimes against humanity acts” they had undertaken together. Does anyone hope that anything good and honest can come from that committee? Then look at the composition. You will see that it is a collection of haters, who are Fulani, Yoruba or Hausa – chief haters of Igbo Biafrans. These are their names: Brigadier-General Dadan Garba (rtd); Brigadier-General Abdulqadir Guide (rtd); Brigadier-General O. Olayinka; Col. L. B. Mohammed; Col. UM Wambai; Mr Olawole Fapohunda; and Lt. Col. CM Akaliro, who is the committee’s secretary.

Will any of these men be balanced enough to tell the truth? Your guess is as good as mine. They are all “genocidists” like their master Burutai, and their chief master, Buhari. They are all bandits, handpicked to lie and deceive the world as Nigeria has been doing since the first day of its miserable existence.

We are not in doubt that the murderer, Burutai, is seeking a cover-up. The Buhari bandits are making themselves judges in their own case; but this can only be done by illiterates and dullards, who think the world is as stupid as they are.

They can lie as much as they want; and they can stunt as much as they want. We are expecting anything from Buratai, his Army or Nigeria. We are looking forward to their arraignment at the International Criminal Court at The Hague. There, they will pay for their atrocities against the people of Biafra.
