I'm dismayed and underwhelmed on the measures being carried out by ECOWAS court on the issue of Nnamdi Kanu. It is a well-known fact that the Nigerian government is really manipulating this Court which was established to defend the course of West Africans. Where are we heading to if the judiciary to which we look up to for humanitarian leadership make themselves parties to the abrogation of these international conventions instead of insisting on their observance?
The Nigerian government indeed is not competent to lay claims or charges or even judgments on the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Judges in Nigeria are households of the Nigerian government. In this situation, what should be the issue? Justice Binta Nyako is a Sharia law student, and today she found herself, poised on giving unlawful judgment to a federal case. Never forget that the federal republic of the zoo called Nigeria has an active constitution, but never approved for Nnamdi Kanu. This further showed how biased and impotent justice has become in Nigeria.
It is one good thing to strike out charges, and a failure and disgrace to also reinstall it in the judicial system of a democratic government just as they claimed in Nigeria. The hypocritical nature of such ruling is unabated. Words are not found to classify such attitude. Such critical condition can only be seen in a contraption which Nigeria cannot deny to be. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a freedom fighter; not even the federal constitution has been able to convict him of any crime. Yet, brainless animals have resorted to another means, not even minding the natural outstanding.
The silence of the economic court orchestrated by the Nigerian government is untenable and unjustifiable. You must be reminded that Kanu has been incarcerated for almost 2 years now without tenable reasons. The ECOWAS court, in this case, must wake up to its responsibility to ensuring the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu because he's not a criminal but a freedom fighter.
This should be done bearing in mind that no genuine evidence has been given to justify his indictment. These crimes as leveled by Nigerian government cannot stand the test of rational scrutiny. The Nigerian government on its own side must eschew their bias rulings in the case of this God-sent fellow. They should lay reasonable facts and if not he should be a free man.
Nigeria is built on lies and just as Awolowo in 1947 said, "Nigeria is not a nation but a mere geographical expression. Everyone must understand that Biafra is an ideology indelible in the hearts of my people. No human born of man can stop the quest for Biafra Restoration. We remain resolute notwithstanding all oddities.
Biafra is here. All hail Biafra!!!
