I witnessed the rally, and I must confess, it was so hectic and a sorrowful one, in the sense that I saw my brothers dropping dead while the Nigerian securities rains live bullets on us; this is because we were celebrating with the president Donald Trump, while he’s being inaugurated as the 45th president of the United States Of America, on the 20th of January 2017 at Igweocha, the present day Port-Harcourt. I couldn’t bear it, I narrowly escaped, while the security operatives took the victims to a place we are yet to know.
We were marching from kumkum obigbo to meet with other IPOB members, we were waving our flags dancing along the streets of Igweocha, as we were marching, all of a sudden, we sighted some Nigerian security convoys, they were coming with a high motion of speed. They were about four vans filled with arm securities. We were not afraid, because we believed we were not violent, we are law abiding citizens. Therefore we stood on our grounds and decided not to be a coward by running away.
Immediately they landed at our front unexpectedly, they opened fire on us, tear gassing and raining live bullets at us. They started shooting at us with intentions of killing all of us at a spot. When we saw bullet shots had injured about five members, we took them, and ran for our safety, while they continually shot at other Biafrans. By then about three have been shot dead many sustained injuries until there took off and headed to Igweocha to disrupt others who were also marching to our final meeting point.
From my observations, I have no doubt to believe that these monsters that called themselves security men were acting under the command of the chief terrorist, Muhammadu Buhari. For the Nigerian government to be against the success of the U S president’s inauguration, there must be something behind it. Muhamadu Buhari is behind all the blood shading of innocent Biafrans.
And Biafrans are determined to achieve Biafra, irrespective of the situations, death or alive. We are not cowards, rather, we are paying healed the rule of law, because we are disciplined followers of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. We know our rights, and we are fighting for our right which is the restoration of the sovereign state of BIAFRA. And we are never going back is either BIAFRA OR DEATH.
