President Muhammad Buhari will leave Abuja to visit Germany on Wednesday night. The president is expected to come back home on Saturday. Sahara Reporters have discovered that barring a last-minute change of plans, he will jet out of Abuja late on Wednesday to arrive in Berlin early Thursday morning. President Buhari will reportedly hold bilateral meetings on Thursday and Friday, October 13-14.
He will also pay a visit to a local hospital. However, it’s unclear whether the president has any kind of a medical problem or it’s an ordinary medical checkup.
Recall that a couple of months ago the president traveled to London, UK, for a minor ear treatment. Meanwhile, the presidency is yet to officially announce the upcoming journey.
Earlier today President Muhammadu Buhari has received Dr Frank-Walters Steinmeier, the foreign minister of federal republic of Germany at the State House. The president asked for the help of Germany in curbing oil theft in Nigeria through assistance in the areas of equipment, training, and sharing of intelligence with the Nigeria navy.
