Biafrans remember their dead in London |
For Biafra Choice Writers
“The
spirit of Biafra will not be dampened; the fire of Biafra agitation will not be
quenched; and the morale of Biafrans will never be lowered. Biafrans will
celebrate in style”
Last Thursday, May 5, Nigeria’s Appeal Court
adjourned adjudication on the appeal filed by the lawyers of Nnamdi Kanu,
Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Director of Radio Biafra.
This is May, the month Biafrans remember and honour
their heroes. Perhaps the Nigerian courts and their puppet master, evil
Muhammadu Buhari have reasoned that letting him out at this time will raise the
tenor of celebration in the Remembrance Day. They might have also believed that
keeping him in detention at this time would rather dampen the spirit of
Biafrans and quench the fire of agitation for Biafra.
O! How mistaken they were! May 30th
remains a special day for Biafrans all over the world, a sacred month for every
true Biafran to acknowledge the death of our fallen heroes and heroines, and to
honour them. The spirit of Biafra will not be dampened; the fire of Biafra
agitation will not be quenched; and the morale of Biafrans will never be
lowered. Biafrans will celebrate in style.
Just as other countries like the United States of
America (USA) has its Veterans Day on November 11, with great passion for it;
our own passion for Biafra Heroes Remembrance Day is greater. Just as the US
day is both a federal holiday and a holiday in all states, our celebration is
for both at (Biafraland) and in diaspora.
May 30th is Biafra’s special day – Remembrance Day
or Heroes Remembrance Day. It is the day we remember and honour our veterans
who laid down their life's that we may live today and propagate the gospel of
Biafra to resonate throughout the cardinal points of the earth. This year’s
Remembrance Day is another special privilege-day to let the Zoo (Nigeria) and
world at large know that Biafra is unstoppable; that nobody born of a woman can
stop Biafra; and that it is either we get Biafra or we die trying to get it.
Heroes Day 2014 |
Our ceremony shall take place, as it was done last
year in a chosen location to be announced by IPOB leadership. Buhari and his
cohorts thought that by unlawful detaining the lion-hearted and charismatic
Nnamdi Kanu, Leader of IPOB, they could stop Biafra and Biafrans. He thought
the constant adjournments of the cases in courts with flimsy excuses can quench
the passion of Biafrans or derail their focus from the noble course of Biafra without
knowing that the more Biafrans are kidnapped, detained, tortured, and killed;
the more intoxicated they are will be about Biafra Restoration.
Come May 30 this year, Buhari’s heart will skip
several beats as always, because Biafra will resound all over Biafraland and
all over the world, as keep the world on notice that Biafra must be restored.
