For Biafra Choice Writers
It has been revealed that preparations for Biafra
Heroes Remembrance Day (BHRD), is already in high gear all over the world,
especially in Biafraland. This information was made known to Biafra Choice
Writers by the Deputy Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Uche Mefor.
The Deputy Leader stated that though this year’s
celebration promises to be more boisterous and successful than those done in the
past, that the leadership of IPOB in Biafraland was packaging and keeping the details
of the programme close to its chest. “But because of the
peculiar security situation that our people face in Biafraland, we will not say
everything. But we are moving relentlessly. Our principle officers of state on
ground in Biafraland are aware of all that are needed, and preparations are on
top gear to make sure that this year’s Remembrance Day of our Fallen Heroes resound
all over the world more than the previous ones”
Mefor said.
He said the programme, which is also known simply as
Biafra Rememberance Day, being celebrated on 30th of May every year
(the date of modern Biafra declaration in 1967), was the brainchild of Nnamdi
Kanu, the Leader of IPOB. He explained
that it would gladden Kanu’s heart to see that this year’s celebration was
highly successful.
Kanu is currently in detention, being detained
extra-judicially by Nigerian Directorate of State Security Services (DSS) under
the orders of the African Hitler, Muhammadu Buhari. Mefor said the celebration
will be done in a big way this year to also send a clear signal to Buhari and
his men that detaining Kanu will not in any way, stop the current push for Biafra
restoration, which is resounding across many countries of the world.
His words: “it is very important that we put this
across to the international community, and to send unmistakable signal to
Muhammadu Buhari, his murderous security agents, and all his agents (saboteurs)
in Biafraland that it is hallucination on their side to think that once they
hold Nnamdi Kanu, Biafra struggle will come to a stop.”
He saluted the courage of Biafrans all over the
world, informing them that up to 80 per cent of Biafra restoration had been
done.
