Biafra is territory existed long before the amalgamation and independence of Nigeria as a republic,which never worked till date, Biafrans are great people they can be king anywhere fate kept them. they are hard working,crafty,lovingly and resolute, they can become king even if they are sold as slaves, they are intellectually vibrant at any time anywhere,that is why they are been subjected to all manner of subjugation to make sure they will not exile in nigeria.
Biafrans had made histories which the world knew. I will go on to highlight some heroes and heroines of biafrans you may not know that are from Biafra land,few are late,others lives still making history. the fifth president of Liberia is Edward James Roye (February 3, 1815 – February 11, 1872) served as the fifth President of Liberia from 1870 to his overthrow in 1871 and subsequent violent death. He had previously served as the 4th Chief Justice of Liberia from 1865 until 1868. He was the first member of Liberia's True Whig Party to serve as President. Early life Born into a prosperous African American family in Newark, Ohio, Roye was a descendant of the Igbo people Biafra precisely.
*Chiwetelu Umeadi Ejiofor was born in London's Forest Gate, to Biafran parents of Igbo origin his father, Arinze, was a doctor, and his mother, Obiajulu, was a pharmacist, his younger sister is CNN correspondent Zain Asher.
*Zain Ejiofor Asher (born 27 August 1983) is a Nigeria/ British news anchor at CNN International based in Atlanta ,She currently anchors CNN Newsroom weekdays at 2:30pm ET on CNN International. *Caroline Chikezie Born 19 February 1974 in London to Biafran parents,was expected to take over her father’s hospital in Nigeria, but she decided to become an actress, She is best known for playing in the series ‘As If’ and movie Æron Flux’.
*Uzoamaka Nwaneka known as “Uzo Aduba” born February 10, 1981 is an American actress who is known for her role as “Crazy Eyes” Warren on ‘Orange Is the New Black’, Her parents are both Biafrans of Igbo origin.
*Ashley Madekwe Born 6 December 1981 she has a Biafran father and an English mother, She is best known for her roles as Ashley in TV series ‘Revenge’ and America series ‘Salem’, She also runs a fashion blog.
Kimberly Anyadike (born c1994) is known as the first Biafran American teen to fly across the United States,Her Dad is an Igbo from Biafra, and Anyadike means (Eye of a Warrior) in the Igbo language, She flew from Compton, California to Newport News, Virginia in 2009,It took her 13 days to complete the flight of over 7,000 miles,The plane used was a Cessna C-172, She was accompanied by safety pilot Ronnell Norman, a certified commercial pilot and Major Levi H. Thornhill, a retired U.S. Air Force pilot who at age 87, is a member of the elite Tuskegee Airmen who served during World War II.
*Blessing Okagbare (born 9 October 1988) she is from delta in Biafra land and field athlete who specializes in long jumping and short sprints,She is an Olympic and World Championships medalist in the long jump, and a world medallist in the 200 metres , She also holds the Women's 100 metres Commonwealth Games record for the fastest time at 10.85 seconds,her 100 m best of 10.79 makes her the African record holder for the event, She was the African 100 m and long jump champion in 2010, She has also won medals at the All-Africa Games and the IAAF Continental Cup.
*Emeagwali was born in Akure, but from Biafra on 23 August 1954, His early schooling was suspended in 1967 as a result of the Nigerian Civil War, At 14 years, he served in the Biafran army, After the war he completed high-school equivalence through self-study, many other people around the world i have not mentioned, that's why Biafrans are bold to answer by their original name "BIAFRA" without fear. Biafrans are all over the world making histories,we urge each of everyone of you to wake up to know your root which is Biafra, to help in restoration of Biafra with your collective efforts victory is assured, BIAFRA!
